We are looking for a Social Media & Communications Officer to join our team in Ukraine. The Social Media & Communications Officer plays a key role in supporting the enhancement of GRC’s online presence through social media platforms and websites, with a focus on growing our audience and engagement. The role involves coordinating with teams across different projects and supporting the organisation of public events.

**The Role**

- Develop and design content for the organisation’s website and social media platforms, with a focus on GRC’s Ukraine-related projects.
- Maintain and regularly update GRC’s website and social media channels, ensuring that all information is accurate, relevant and up to date.
- Develop and implement the organisation’s social media plan to enhance visibility and engagement.
- Coordinate with project teams to develop and ensure consistent implementation of the organisation’s social media content plan.
- Monitor and analyse the performance of social media campaigns and media coverage, adjusting approaches where necessary to optimise results.
- Assist in the organisation and delivery of public events, press briefings, conferences and presentations, as well as other initiatives supporting the organisation’s mission.
- Work closely with legal teams to ensure the accuracy and clarity of content related to international law and human rights issues.
- Support effective internal and external communication across the organisation and its projects.

**Your Background**

- Degree in a relevant field such as Journalism, Political Science, Public Relations, or International Relations is preferred.
- 3+ years of proven experience in coordinating and understanding social media platforms for an organisation or brand.
- Experience working in an NGO is preferable.
- Excellent understanding of social media platforms and leveraging and creating captivating content for various social media platforms to enhance engagement.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactive and creative approach to problem-solving and campaign development.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent English and Ukrainian language skills - spoken and written.
- Basic knowledge of law or experience working in a legal or human rights context will be considered an advantage.
