## **Job Purpose**
The position is responsible for training and equipping beneficiaries with job readiness skills through the facilitation of job market-oriented ICT training. This role involves delivering hands-on training in computer applications, providing technical support, managing student records, and ensuring a conducive learning environment. Additionally, the role includes sourcing appropriate job or training placements for beneficiaries.
## **Key Responsibilities and Job Dimensions**
**Student Support and Management:**
- Mobilize and train students on basic computer application packages such as MS Office, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Access, Desktop publishing, Internet, and email.
- Assess and examine students on the areas of study.
- Track and keep students’ attendance records.
- Ensure a conducive learning environment for the students.
- Manage students’ intake and evaluation process and submit financial records to the finance manager.
- Ensure all registered students are issued with membership cards.
- Ensure all learning aids are available for the students.
- File and maintain proper student records.
- Organize graduation events for computer training grandaunts.
- Request and issue certificates to the grandaunts.
- Resolution of minor disputes and conflicts amongst the students.
- Liaise with the team lead on appropriate opportunities for the computer students, whether in job or training placements.
- Submit progress reports as required and report on issues arising in the training center
- Pursue partnerships that add value to SHOFCO work.
**Technical Support and Administration:**
- Provide PC support.
- Troubleshoot students' computer systems and related peripherals.
- Manage application software used for training.
- Develop work-plans and activity budgets.

### **Academic Qualifications**
Diploma in IT with 1 years’ experience or a Certificate in IT or any equivalent with over 2 years’ experience

- Proficiency in delivering training on computer applications, ensuring that students acquire job readiness and ICT skills effectively.
- Skill in providing technical support, troubleshooting computer systems, and resolving issues related to hardware and software.
- Ability to manage the intake process, evaluate student progress, and handle administrative tasks
- Ability to motivate and inspire students, creating a positive learning environment
