**Background**

Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is an independent and international medical humanitarian organisation delivering emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters, and exclusion from healthcare.

MSF UK- a 3-year grant for emergency nutrition response.

Through this grant we aim to implement an integrated approach to preventive and therapeutic health care for children. This approach seeks to de-silo vertical programming and provide a person-centred approach to health care. We aim to cover all aspects of integrated nutrition activities, including preventative and curative care, complementary to the provision of therapeutic food products- vaccination, malaria prevention, Primary Health Care and Secondary Health Care. By combining nutrition, vaccination, and malaria prevention activities into programming we aim to improve paediatric outcomes and deliver streamlined health services to children under five and their families.

**Objective**

Outline how MSF UK **will establish and maintain effective ways of working across** public health, operations, supply, logistics and finance systems **to ensure optimal results for the communities we serve, while fully complying with internal and external reporting requirements.**

This will include:

- **Developing a comprehensive three-year project timeline**, with clear milestones, dependencies, and decision points aligned to organisational priorities.
- **Defining the roles, responsibilities, and competencies required** across all participating departments to ensure coordinated delivery and accountability.
- **Advising how to best conduct an internal stakeholder analysis** to identify key actors, assess influence and interest, and determine the engagement strategies needed to secure meaningful buy-in from leadership, technical advisors, and nutritional experts.
- **Identifying mechanisms for cross departmental collaboration**, including communication channels, escalation pathways, and routine coordination structures that support timely problem-solving and adaptive management.
- **How to ensure alignment with reporting and compliance obligations**, including data flows, documentation standards, and quality assurance processes that meet MSF and donor expectations.

**Deliverables**

- A clear staged process to develop an integrated emergency nutrition response.

**Duration:** 3 months.

**Start date:** ASAP

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, compelling messages for diverse audiences.

- Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset, able to anticipate challenges and drive progress with limited supervision.
